Bournemouth Bones Present: Digging up the Bones (A musical history tour!)

Date: 9th or 17th June
Location: Your School

SoundStorm is delighted to announce the ‘Digging up the Bones’ tour, a four-piece brass ensemble visiting Bournemouth & Poole schools this summer.
Music Hub partner John Randall leads a brass quartet on a unique history tour.  As well as performing well-known classics, they will touch on the history and science of brass playing with demonstrations on the Conch, Didgeridoo, Hosepipe and Post-Horn. Formed by members (and friends) of the trombone section who between them have played with many of Britain’s most famous orchestras, including the: RPO, LPO and various BBC orchestras (to name but a few!), Bournemouth Bones brings high quality live music offer into schools. Each one-hour concert is designed to keep the whole school engaged, as the quartet play specially arranged music from a wide variety of genres and a touch of humour.
