Instrument Loans

We are pleased to confirm that we are now taking instrument hire inquiries for individual and school requests. (See Loan Form below).

SoundStorm has an extensive range of instruments available to loan to organisations and schools at highly subsidised rates. A small charge is levied to cover the cost of storage and servicing of instruments. SoundStorm does not generate any profit from this charge.

Individual instruments can be hired for pupils with the school acting as guarantor. If you are a parent or guardian, please contact the music coordinator/Head of department in your school and direct them to the application form. They will be our main point of contact.

Our range of instruments includes saxophones, trumpets, french horns, trombones, samba kits, violins, violas, flutes, clarinets, oboes, cellos, guitars (including acoustic, electric, and bass), and a range of tech including DJ equipment. If you would like to hire something that we do not have, let us know and we will see what we can do.

Accessible Instruments Library

In accordance with our Inclusion Strategy and with the help of a recent Capital Grant received from the Department for Education, we have built this library to help give young people in the BCP area access to instruments that meet their unique needs, abilities and interests.
